Case Studies
Sometimes the best way to understand what we do is to see it — before and after.
Graffiti removal and hard surface cleaning can produce remarkable results, but the outcome depends entirely on the right approach being taken for the right surface. These case studies show a cross-section of the work we do across both The Graffiti Eaters and The Stain Eaters — from graffiti on vehicles and infrastructure through to fire damage restoration and hard surface cleaning.
Each job presented its own unique challenges. In every case the result was a surface restored to a condition the client didn’t think was possible — done properly, without causing damage in the process.

Paver Cleaning — Residential Property
Over time, this residential paver area had accumulated dirt, grime, mould, and organic staining to the point where the original surface was barely visible. The property owner had tried domestic cleaning methods without success.
Our team used hot water pressure washing to restore the pavers to their original condition — the heat breaking down the organic matter and staining that cold water alone can’t shift. The result speaks for itself: a surface that looks freshly laid without any cleaning solutions or abrasives required.
Graffiti Removal — Van
This white van was heavily tagged with spray paint across the body panels and glass — a frustrating and costly problem for any vehicle owner or fleet operator. The painted finish required a careful approach to avoid damaging the clear coat or leaving any cleaning solution marks.
Our technician used a specialist graffiti cleaning solution applied entirely by hand, working carefully across each affected panel before neutralising the surface to protect the paint and underlying metal. No pressure washing, no abrasives — just the right chemistry and the right technique, leaving the van’s finish completely intact.

Graffiti Removal — Overpass Wall
This large-scale graffiti attack on a concrete overpass wall presented a number of logistical challenges beyond the graffiti itself — no mains water access, no power on site, and a surface height that required elevated access equipment to reach safely.
Our self-sufficient surface restoration vehicle carried everything needed on board — including its own water supply and hot water pressure cleaning system — removing the need for any external utilities. A cherry picker provided safe elevated access to the full height of the wall. Specialist cleaning solutions were applied and the graffiti removed with hot water pressure washing, restoring the textured concrete surface without damage.
Fire Damage Restoration — Brick Wall
This brick wall had sustained significant fire damage, leaving heavy carbon and smoke staining across a large area of brickwork. Standard cleaning methods are ineffective on carbon — the approach needs to be cleaning solution first.
Our technicians applied a specialist cleaning solution formulated to neutralise and break down the carbon deposits embedded in the brick surface. Once the solution had dwelled and worked into the substrate, hot water pressure washing was used to flush the carbon and residue from the brickwork — restoring the wall to a condition that far exceeded what the property owner thought possible.

Driveway Cleaning — Residential Property
This brick paver driveway had become heavily stained and discoloured from years of dirt, organic growth, and general weathering — losing the warm red tone of the original surface entirely.
Hot water pressure washing was used to strip back the built-up grime and restore the driveway to its original colour and character. The difference between before and after is dramatic — and the result is achieved without any surface damage or the need for cleaning solution treatments, making it a straightforward but highly effective transformation.
