Artificial turf is susceptible to the gradual build-up of dirt and biological growth — particularly in shaded areas that don’t receive strong direct sunlight. Left untreated, moss and mould can make the surface slippery and unsafe, affect drainage, and significantly shorten the lifespan of the turf.

Standard cleaning methods aren’t suitable for artificial grass. The fibres and backing require a careful, controlled approach that effectively removes soiling without displacing infill material or damaging the turf structure.

Where moss or mould growth is established, a suitable cleaning solution is applied to the affected areas and left to dwell before rinsing — breaking down the biological growth at the source for a more thorough result.

Controlled pressure washing
Water pressure is carefully adjusted to suit the turf — effective enough to flush out embedded dirt and biological matter, gentle enough to leave the turf structure completely intact.

Rinse and inspection
The surface is thoroughly rinsed and inspected on completion to ensure all soiling and treatment residue has been removed.
