Non-slip coatings are not a one-product-fits-all solution. The coating selected must be matched to the surface type, the level of traffic and abrasion it will face, the liquids or contaminants present, and the maintenance cycle of the facility. Surface assessment
Our technician inspects the slippery area and assesses the surface condition, adhesion available, and the nature of the slip hazard — whether it’s a smooth sealed surface, a wet area, a contaminated floor, or a surface that has deteriorated over time. This determines the appropriate coating solution.

Surface preparation and cleaning
The surface is professionally cleaned and prepared before any coating is applied. Surface moisture levels, existing contamination, and coating adhesion are all confirmed before the application process begins. A non-slip coating applied over a poorly prepared surface will not adhere properly and will fail prematurely.

Coating application
The non-slip coating system is applied to manufacturer specifications — correct wet and dry film thickness across the entire treated area. Coating quality, adhesion, traffic load, abrasion resistance, and exposure to liquids are all factored into the application approach. The result is a consistent, durable non-slip surface that performs reliably under the conditions it was specified for.

Non-slip additives in existing coatings
For surfaces being sealed or coated as part of a broader project — factory floors, garage floors, driveways, pool surrounds — a non-slip additive can be incorporated directly into the coating. This is the most seamless approach where a coating is already being applied.

Dedicated non-slip coating systems
Where a standalone non-slip treatment is required on an existing surface — a tiled wet area, a sealed concrete ramp, a staircase, or a loading dock — a dedicated non-slip coating system is applied. These products are specifically formulated to provide enhanced grip on smooth or slippery surfaces without requiring the full surface to be recoated.
