How We Remove Graffiti from Concrete

The process works like this:

1. Solution application
The appropriate graffiti cleaning solution is applied to the affected area and allowed to dwell. The dwell time is determined by the technician based on the graffiti type and how deeply it has penetrated the surface.

2. Hot water pressure wash
Once the solution has had time to work into the substrate, the area is pressure washed with hot water to flush the graffiti from the surface and rinse it clean.

3. Repeat if required
If any graffiti remains after the initial treatment, the process is repeated until the surface is fully restored.

4. Ghosting treatment
Concrete can be particularly prone to ghosting — a faint shadow left behind even after the bulk of the graffiti has been removed. Where ghosting is present, our technicians apply a specialist treatment solution that continues to work over time, gradually fading the shadow until it’s gone.
