Cleaning Mould and Grime On Bricks

External hard surfaces at residential homes or commercial property are exposed to some harsh conditions, which often result in the build-up of dirt, grime and mould.

This is particularly true in the case of brickwork, which has many textured areas where dirt can settle, and mould will start to grow.

As plants and trees often grow next to such wall, or even overhang them, this will commonly result in the build-up of heavy mould, moss and grime which can then leave a very difficult to remove stain on the brick surface.

Cleaning built-up dirt and grime from any surface can be problematic and time consuming and brickwork is no exception.

Regular, home use pressure cleaning equipment usually lacks the power to efficiently cut through this type of build-up, making the job very laborious and also using too much water.

When our team perform this type of work, we often use our super-heated water pressure cleaning as the heat will quickly rinse away tough grime and mould and extract many stains from the substrate.

Areas that have remaining stains can be treated using one of our specialist cleaning solutions to further break down the stain where it is followed by another round of pressure cleaning to extract the remaining stains.

If there are areas or surfaces that may be damaged through the use of pressure cleaning, we can perform a soft wash treatment to clean the area without impacting on the substrate or surface finish.

If you have external areas that are in need of a good clean, give our customer service team a call to arrange for a quote.
