After Flood Clean Up
In recent weeks, many parts of the country have been experiencing heavier than normal rainfall. Over the past few years, this type of weather pattern is becoming more common and affecting more parts of Australia.
As a result, the instance of localised flooding that affects individual property is also becoming more common.
The combination of heavy rain and inadequate drainage around a home will often result in the build-up of standing water around garden and driveway areas. This excess water usually brings with it a large amount of dirt, mud and debris that is often left behind once the water eventually drains away.
Driveways, paths and concrete areas are commonly affected by this dirt and debris, leaving these areas covered in a layer of grime and mud.
While most of this build-up can be hosed off and swept away, we often see large sections of stains left behind from where the debris and dirt had settled.
This heavy standing water and dirt allows moisture to completely saturate the substrate, resulting in dirt and grime being absorb deeply into the surface of concrete, driveways and pavers.
In many cases it is necessary to use a suitable cleaning solution and hot water pressure cleaning in order to remove such stains and get the surface looking clean again.
At The Stain Eaters, our team of Technicians have custom built vehicles that are equipped with specialized pressure cleaning systems and boiler units that allow us to clean away the toughest stains and build-up.
Each of our vehicles has on board a large range of cleaning solutions that our Technicians can use to treat stains on a wide range of substrates. The use of specialised cleaning solutions on hard surface stains helps to break down the substance within the substrate, making the pressure cleaning process more efficient and provides a better result.
Additionally, our team also carries on board commercial grade vacuum water recovery units, which allows them to control the run-off of wastewater. This waste can either be pumped into onboard tanks where we can dispose of it off site, or it can be dispersed into garden beds and the water not going to waste.
