Environmental responsibility isn’t a box we tick — it’s built into every aspect of how we operate.

Graffiti removal and hard surface cleaning are, by nature, cleaning solution and water-intensive activities. That creates real environmental responsibilities — for wastewater management, cleaning solution handling, water usage, and vehicle emissions — and we take all of them seriously.

Our environmental management system is certified to AS/NZS ISO 14001 and independently audited annually. Every job includes a Job Environmental Analysis documenting environmental hazards and the controls in place before work begins.

Wastewater generated during cleaning operations — which contains dissolved graffiti substances, cleaning cleaning solutions, oils, and other contaminants — must never enter stormwater drains. Stormwater systems flow directly to waterways, and cleaning solution contamination has serious consequences for aquatic environments and local ecosystems.

Every one of our surface restoration vehicles is equipped with wastewater recovery systems — including absorbent booms and wet vacuum equipment — to capture wastewater at the source and prevent it from entering the stormwater system.

Captured wastewater is handled as follows:

Standard cleaning wastewater is vacuum collected on site and managed appropriately — in many cases reused for watering garden beds where suitable,

High-contamination wastewater from industrial spill clean-ups containing significant oil or paint content is processed through an EPA-approved facility where the water is treated and reclaimed,

This approach protects local waterways and ensures our operations comply with state environmental regulations on every job — regardless of location or job size.

Our work is water-intensive — pressure washing and graffiti removal both require significant volumes of water to be effective. Using that water responsibly is a non-negotiable part of how we operate.

Our surface restoration vehicles are equipped with efficient jetting technology that achieves first-class results with minimal water usage. Large onboard storage capacity allows us to use reclaimed tank water across multiple job sites, reducing demand on mains supply.

Our technicians hold permits from state water authorities to access street hydrants where required. All vehicles comply with backflow prevention regulations, and we pay for all water accessed through hydrant connections.

The cleaning formulations we use are biodegradable and selected to minimise environmental impact while delivering effective results. All vehicles carry MSDS registers and cleaning solution spill kits to manage any incidents involving cleaning cleaning solutions on site.

Waste products generated in the course of our work — including paint and coating wastage and application equipment clean-up — are managed to minimise environmental impact and disposed of correctly.

Our surface restoration vehicles are purpose-built trucks with truck-mounted pressure cleaning systems driven off the vehicle engine. This is significantly more efficient and quieter than the alternative — competitors operating from light utility vehicles with stationary petrol engines produce substantially more noise and higher emissions per job.

Our fleet operates with Euro-compliant diesel engines that meet current emissions standards, reducing both carbon output and noise pollution in residential and commercial areas where we operate.
