How We Remove Grease

Grease removal requires a cleaning solution process matched to the contamination type and surface — hot water and detergent alone won’t cut through embedded or built-up grease. Our three-stage treatment process dissolves the grease at the molecular level and draws it out of the surface before pressure washing begins.

Assessment
Grease consistency, contamination depth, and surface type all affect the treatment approach. Fresh grease that sits on top of the surface is easier to treat than old, absorbed contamination that has hardened into the substrate over time. Our technician assesses the situation before selecting the appropriate solution and process.

Three-stage cleaning solution treatment
The treatment works in three stages: dissolving the molecular structure of the grease, suspending it in place to prevent further absorption, and drawing the suspended grease to the surface for removal. The solution must be allowed to dwell — cutting this short leaves residual contamination in the surface.

Hot water pressure washing
Once the treatment has lifted the grease, hot water under pressure removes the dissolved contamination from the surface thoroughly. The entire area is neutralised and deep cleaned after grease removal.

Important note: The surface must be dry for the treatment to work effectively. Depending on the age and depth of the contamination, a faint mark may remain after initial treatment — this typically fades over several weeks of UV exposure.
