Coatings
The Graffiti Eaters can supply and apply high quality coatings to protect your building from tags and graffiti. Anti-graffiti coating technology has developed a long way in the past five years.
The coating application is usually based on a square metre rate. We can provide a free quote and consultation on supplying and applying the coatings. Our Team members are fully trained in the application of these coatings.
To choose the best coating for your application, our team has around 10 different coatings systems. These coating systems are basically from two different families: Sacrificial and Non Sacrificial (long life).
Sacrificial Coatings
Sacrificial Coatings are of an acrylic base. When they are hit with graffiti, the removal process removes both the graffiti and coating. The coating then needs to be patch repaired.
The advantages of Sacrificial Coatings are that they are cheaper, safe to apply and have a matt finish, so are unnoticeable on the wall of your building.
Long
Life Coatings
Long
Life Coatings are a two pack polyethylene base. They protect your building
for 10 years against the penetration of graffiti. Removal can be performed
hundreds of times and is as easy as spray and wipe. These types of coatings
are full gloss.
Application
The
application of coatings is highly critical. Most coatings fail because they
are not applied with care. Moisture, surface preparation, applicator experience
and coating quality are critical factors.
All products used by The Graffiti Eaters are both manufactured and applied to ISO 9001 Quality Standards.
